About the opportunity
Energy Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Energy Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
Amentum are seeking an Electrical Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems to support the execution and oversight of key supplier contracts. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant work while managing multiple interfaces across technical teams and client stakeholders.

Serve as the main point of contact for the client on all matters related to instrumentation contracts and technical support
Oversee supplier performance, ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, scope, and technical quality during contract execution
Review supplier documentation for compliance with technical standards, coordinating contributions from multiple reviewers
Coordinate and supervise any additional technical leads supporting document reviews, ensuring timely handling of all topics
Provide structured feedback and comment sheets to suppliers using dedicated tools and organise clarification meetings when necessary
Manage and communicate contract modifications through Contract Transfer Sheets (CTS) using client systems
Act as the primary contact for modifications, non-conformities, and technical issues arising from site activities
Monitor and manage risks, opportunities, and open points across the contract lifecycle
Interface with internal engineering disciplines providing input data or relying on the electrical contract’s outputs
Track equipment delivery dates and ensure alignment with project timelines and conduct technical document reviews focused on compliance with electrical and cabling standards and contractual obligations
Lead or contribute to technical clarification discussions and resolution of supplier/client technical queries
Regularly update the IEG (General Electrical Installation) interface document to reflect current scope and supplier responsibilities and tack scope gaps related to electrical components and produce an annual status report
Qualifications
Familiarity with RCC-E electrical technical regulations
Understanding of key reference standards such as NFC15-100, NF C 13-200, BS7671, and IEC 60909
Experience working with complex engineering documentation and supplier contracts
Strong coordination and communication skills for managing multiple internal and external interfaces
