Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Manufacturing Operator 2 to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and transporting materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
Efficiently pick items from inventory shelves according to order requirements and securely pack items into appropriate containers.
Utilize tow motors/forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Perform manual order picking tasks, including locating items within the warehouse, verifying quantities, and preparing orders for shipment.
Assist in the management of order fulfillment processes, including organizing and prioritizing orders, ensuring timely completion, and communicating any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Adhere to specific packaging requirements for frozen perishable items, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product integrity.
Assist in setting up for manufacturing processes by staging media and materials for operators.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of required materials.
Use the SAP system to view and process orders efficiently.
Essential Skills
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Picking and/or packing experience.
Ability to safely operate power industrial trucks or tuggers with tow motors/forklifts preferred.
Basic computer skills for order management and inventory tracking.
Familiarity with SAP system or willingness to learn.
Ability to follow and relay written and verbal instructions in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in order picking and packing roles.
Previous experience with tow motors/forklifts.
Basic understanding of inventory management systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is a warehouse setting with shift hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves operating tow motors/forklifts and handling various materials, including frozen perishable items. Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and proper handling procedures to maintain product integrity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
