A Deployment Specialist is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Solon, OH area. This position involves making data-driven decisions to minimize service risks, coordinating inventory management, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing supply chain operations to ensure efficient production deployment and inventory movement.

responsibilities:

  • Make experience-based and data-driven decisions to minimize service risk.

  • Communicate regional inventory gaps to internal/external stakeholders and be accountable for service results.

  • Advocate for smooth supply flow and transparency during supply constraints.

  • Drive collaboration and continuous improvement in areas affecting supply, service, or waste.

  • Daily review of event exceptions impacting short-term inventory projections.

  • Follow up with cross-functional teams to resolve event exceptions and reduce future occurrences.

  • Reconcile and confirm dispatch plans, adjusting as needed for various factors.

  • Work closely with Factory and Transportation teams to ensure timely production deployment.

  • Ensure supply moves fit within short-term capacity constraints and prioritize inventory moves.

  • Make decisions on inventory movement to maximize supply payload.

  • Identify the need to expedite inventory movement and facilitate processes with cross-functional partners.

  • Build Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) and confirm inventory according to aligned cut-off times.

  • Coordinate the deployment of semi-finished product (SFP) from distribution centers to plants/co-manufacturers.

  • Execute on direction received from DRP for moves related to salvage waste or capacity solutions.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

Experience:

  • Previous supply chain work experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

  • Ability to focus and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

  • Familiarity with SAP preferred.
