GENERAL
Position Overview
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.
- Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with minimum supervision.
- Communicates with office physicians about changes in the patients status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
- The individual in this position needs to be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited Healthcare Technical Training school.
Experience
- Previous experience in general nursing required; previous experience in an Orthopedic Clinic setting highly desired.
- Knowledge
- Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Licenses / Certifications / Registries
Current certification as an MA; BLS
