Bright Horizons Child Care Administrative Assistant in Snoqualmie, Washington

As an Administrative Assistant, you will support the leadership team and be integral to the success of our childcare center. You will have direct interaction with potential and existing families, and have opportunities to tap into your creative side by writing newsletters and helping plan center events. This position is 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, year round.

Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Child Development Center - The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe follows the Tribal Hiring Preference as outlined in tribal policies, which allows hiring preference to qualified individuals that are enrolled in a federally recognized Indian tribe.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards, health and safety protocols, and *company policies *

Communicate regularly via phone, email, and in-person with prospective and enrolled families.

Maintain attendance and payroll records.

Ensure licensing and other files are kept current, confidential, and secure.

Maintain the security system and monitor sign-in/sign-out procedures for families.

Provide support where needed by stepping into a classroom or helping throughout the school as needed.

Monitor program quality

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

  • Experience in an office setting preferred.

  • Computer proficiency including email, data entry, social media, and Microsoft Office preferred.

  • At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma/GED required.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an education/preschool child care center/school to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $28.00 - $30.00 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for a hiring incentive of $1,000 payable after 100 days of employment.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 64 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).

Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 / hr
