Description:
Responsible for maintaining, servicing, and operating all facility equipment and fixtures. Assists in maintaining the overall working condition and appearance of building and grounds of facility while maintaining a safe environment.
Responsible for performing, maintaining, repairing, and operating facilities grounds equipment and fixtures, such as: heating, cooling, plumbing, water, gas, electrical, mechanical, communications equipment, carpentry, painting, laminating, laundry and kitchen equipment, fire systems
Maintenance Worker is responsible for the general maintenance and grounds keeping of the site. Performs semi-skilled maintenance to non-mechanical equipment as instructed.
Answers assigned daily maintenance requests consisting of:
Does assigned preventive maintenance work
Does construction work when required
Displays proficiency in the use of hand and some power tools
Will assist and do any kind of work related to the functions of the Site Maintenance Department if required
Additional
Stays productive between assigned tasks
Able to work independently and show initiative to accomplish goals of the department and organization
Keeps work and storage areas neat
Tools and equipment are kept clean and operable
Work is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisor
Adheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timely
Operates company vehicle and works at multiple locations
Requirements:
NYS Drivers License
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance
High School Diploma or GED
Pay Range:$17.25 - $22.54
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
