Job Title: Maintenance / Boiler Operator
Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring, repair, preventative and predictive maintenance, and cleaning of all equipment associated with plant processes. The role involves taking samples, running tests on products, and working with a computer throughout the day.
Responsibilities
70% Boiler and 30% maintenance when needed
Monitor, repair, and maintain plant equipment
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, and seals
Remove and align motors
Take samples and run tests on products
Operate and troubleshoot computer systems
Maintain accurate and timely maintenance logs
Use standard hand and power tools
Lift up to 50 lbs
Drill into the PLC
Essential Skills
Electrical and mechanical skills
Boiler maintenance experience
Computer skills
Troubleshooting abilities
Mechanical aptitude
Class 2B Boiler License or higher
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months of experience in preventative/predictive maintenance
Experience working with conveyors, pumps, and seals
Ability to use standard hand and power tools
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
