Role reports to: Regional Make Excellence Lead

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025

Travel %: 10

Pay: $97,000 - $166,750

What you will do

The Regional Smart Operations Project Portfolio Manager (PPM), North America role will act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) and be responsible to steward the global and regional Smart Ops strategies and technical solutions to the NA Region and represent the region in Regional and Global cross functional forums with the objective of advancing our Digital First agenda.

This role will be responsible for managing the Global Smart Ops portfolio, evaluating Global MVP's (Minimum Viable Products) for applicability, managing execution within the region and be responsible for all reporting to Regional and Global stakeholders as well as leading the regional governances. This role will be responsible to collaborate with regional functions, Make sites and Global organizations to ensure effective implementation of Regional and Global Smart Ops programs.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with regional Make stakeholders (Finance, Manufacturing Science and Technology, Site Leaders), Supply Chain Excellence and Functional Leads (Plan, Source, Deliver, Quality) to assess Global MVP's, determine applicability, resourcing and funding requirements, and facilitate execution of selected candidates. Also identifies and facilitates regional best practices for global consideration.

Shapes and leads the regional Smart Ops strategy and roadmap, associated funding requirements for LRFP and execution of the projects for financial delivery to the P&L and balance sheet.

Represents the region and acts as liaison between Global Smart Operations, Digital Transformation Office, Regional Functions and Manufacturing Sites.

Leads the communication, reporting, governance, resource allocation and risk mitigation processes for Smart Ops in the region.

Partners closely with finance to track budget vs. actual performance of the initiatives.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8 years industry experience.

3 years project and/or project portfolio management in supply chain with demonstrated skills with current concepts in project management, project portfolio management, project risk management and prioritization processes.

Experience with a focus on Digital / Smart Operations deployment in Supply Chain

Demonstrated experience in establishing governance, presentations, metrics and managing a portfolio of projects.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; able to communicate effectively with multiple management levels and across a broad base of stakeholders.

Strong demonstrated collaboration, sense of urgency, analytical, influencing and results driven leadership skills. Ability to deal with technical and organizational complexity in a matrixed environment.

Ability to prioritize a complex portfolio in the context of business needs.

Financial acumen.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in several supply chain functions (Plan, Source, Make Deliver, Quality, Engineering)

Consumer / pharmaceutical / biologics manufacturing or quality environment

Advanced degree

Project Management certification

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 - $166,750. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
