Project Manager, Self Care

This position reports to Senior Manager of the Project Management Office and is based Skillman, NJ (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Role reports to: Senior Project Manager, Self Care

Location: Skillman, NJ. (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Travel %: 10% mostly domestic, including occasional trip to Fort Washington PA office.

Pay: $97,000 to $166,750.

What you will do

The Project Manager will plan, lead, coordinate and control the execution of New Product Development (NPD) and Supply Chain Projects within the Self Care Segment of the North America business. This will require:

Key Responsibilities
Interdependent partnering with multiple functions, including E2E Operations, Manufacturing Sites (internal & external), Marketing, Sales, Portfolio Management, Planning, Sourcing/Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Technical Operations, and Packaging Engineering.
Management of project related activities from Define Stage to Project completion, to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on cost, on quality, at required customer service levels and within approved funding limits to achieve the final project objectives.
Effective communication to senior leaders and regional stakeholders.
With limited direction, lead cross-functional project teams in a dynamic environment to identify, recommend and implement the best enterprise business solutions/propositions across Product Development, Supply Chain and Commercial.
Guide project teams through the development of strategies, options, and business cases; Drive activities to meet project and business objectives including approval of project recommendations through governance.
Influence others beyond own scope and level; lead communications with all levels of stakeholders to enable informed decision making.
Drive team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects meet defined project milestones.
Demonstrate team performance management; ask the right questions to understand business impacts and risks.
Make the complex simple when presenting opportunities and plans to the team and organization.
Lead team through options analyses and drive recommendations.
Identify and recommend the best enterprise business proposition.
Engage teams in healthy debate/conflict resolution and deliver team-aligned business solutions.
Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to relevant stakeholders, lead development and delivery of tactical and achievable mitigation and contingency planning.
Ensure stakeholder alignment, project planning, resource and risk management, team development and communication.
Lead prioritization and options analysis with teams.
Lead teams in use of ongoing risk management & communication tools.
Develop, manage, and maintain up-to-date Project Timelines inclusive of all critical milestones, key interdependencies, financial commitments, and resource constraints, while applying appropriate project scheduling techniques.
Monitor project status and execution; report timely updates via Project Templates, Project Dashboards and Update Forms; and develop agendas, minutes, metrics, etc. for the teams.
Deliver transparent, timely and effective verbal and written communication to teams, stakeholders, and appropriate levels of the organization.
Lead "lessons learned" exercises, share lessons among project leaders and other teams.
Exhibits excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
Has a strong business and financial acumen.
Lead teams in delivering results.
Demonstrate leadership & influencing skills across organizational functions and levels.


Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Sciences, Business or a related discipline is required.
Minimum of 8 years of business-related experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in OTC, Pharmaceutical, and/or regulated Consumer Products Industry is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Functional Lead or Project Management position leading cross-functional teams' enterprise-wide is required.


Desired Qualifications
Masters Degree of PhD is preferred.
Expertise with Project scheduling software (MS Project) is preferred.
PMP, Process Excellence, or Six Sigma training/certification is preferred.
Experience with standard PM tools and templates is preferred.
