We are seeking an IT Security and Applications Manager to join our team in our Sioux Falls, SD office. In this role, you will help support the entire TAK organization by monitoring and working to improve our IT security stance. You will also support and help maintain access to critical application used by TAK employees.

The Role

  • Work with team of IT professionals dedicated to providing a high level of service to the entire organization

  • Ensure that access to our networks, systems, applications, and data is secure

  • Understand the current applications and technologies in use by TAK Employees

  • Administer accounts and access to applications

  • Gain a general working knowledge of critical applications to support issues that may come in from employees via the help desk ticketing system

  • Develop and implement IT security strategies and policies to protect the organization's data, network, and systems from unauthorized access, modification, or damage

  • Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and respond to incidents and breaches.

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures

  • Be proactive in continually looking for ways to improve security

  • Work with industry standard security frameworks to ensure that our systems and procedures are compliant

  • Collaborate with our 3rd party service providers to identify gaps and ultimately resolve open issues.

  • Work with existing endpoint management tools

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in IT security and applications

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of experience in IT security, information systems and applications management or related

  • Strong knowledge of IT security principles, frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS

  • Proficiency with firewalls, endpoint security, mobile device management and vulnerability detection and remediation

  • Certifications in IT security is beneficial

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
