Job Title: RME - Maintenance Technician II
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will leverage your expertise to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the facility. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
Manage work orders within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Apply electrical knowledge of basic components for troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve problems with equipment.
Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
2+ years of experience in repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
2+ years of following and demonstrating safety standards.
1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
Experience with CMMS.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Willingness to learn and grow within the RME environment.
Experience with MHE safety standards according to OEM and Safety standards.
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college focusing on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
Experience working with PLC-based control systems.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment
Candidates will work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Performance will be tracked through data and numbers, though micromanagement is not practiced. Expect to walk up to 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 pounds at a time. Positions are available for all shifts, and applicants must be open to any 10-hour shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
