We are seeking a Fleet & Asset Manager to join our team in our Sioux Falls, SD office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's fleet operations and asset management, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Role
Oversee the Fleet Maintenance Program for the entire organization
Ensure Fleet Program Compliance (GPS, DOT, DVIR, etc.)
Responsible for vehicle purchases, sales, and disposals
Oversight and maintenance of Vehicle Titling and Registration
Oversite and maintenance of Fleet Management Software
Ensure proper advice and guidance regarding fund management and allocation of assets
Develop methodologies for tracking asset lifecycle, inventory, locations, costs, and return on investment
Lead cross-functional coordination activities to develop an accurate and complete asset information database used for reporting across the organization
Ensure that appropriate resources (people, tools, services) and processes are in place to gather and analyze data relating to technology asset life cycles and related processes
Research industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Collect and provide KPI/Metric information and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis
Ensure accurate and timely reporting
Collaborate and maintain a great working relationship with Field Operations
Requirements
AA, AS, AAS degree in related field (Business, Management, Engineering), or equivalent experience required
5+ years of fleet and/or asset management experience
Experience in management
Strong knowledge of vehicles and construction equipment
Working knowledge of DOT Compliance, and related state and local codes
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and work within deadlines
Strong communication and presentation skillset
Able to travel up to 25-50%
Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change easily
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially generating Excel reports
Ability to operate and work from an assigned work vehicle and sit for long periods of time
May require working and traveling in all kinds of weather conditions
Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license
Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

Salary Description
$65,000+ DOE
