Job Summary
The dietitian Provides nutrition counseling in an outpatient clinical setting to cancer patients across the continuum of the cancer experience, including primary prevention, cancer treatment, secondary prevention, cancer recurrence and palliative care. Responsibilities also include conducting individualized assessments and providing appropriate and evidenced based education and recommendations based on patients’ specific therapies and nutrition needs. The dietitian functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary health care team and communicates with healthcare providers concerning patient’s nutritional care.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of South Dakota required.
Willing to accept someone who will be getting their license soon. This person won't be able to start until it is obtained.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$25.00 - $37.75 per hour
