ManpowerGroup Ammonia Refrigeration Technician in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join their team. As an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Pay Range: $35 per hour
What's the Job?
Manage and troubleshoot preventive maintenance of refrigeration systems and components in the plant.
Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using various testing equipment.
Ensure adherence to the Process Safety Management (PSM) program for ammonia refrigeration systems.
Inspect plant and machinery to ensure optimum performance and direct maintenance activities.
Assist in the development of risk mitigation and accident prevention programs.
What's Needed?
Associates degree or vocational school degree in a maintenance technician program.
Minimum of three years of experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
5-7 years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in the food industry.
Current R.E.T.A. or Refrigeration certification required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions.
