Reporting to the Head of Energy & Performance Services, the sales manager will lead the sales process for the growing sustainability and energy performance services business. This role will require a deep understanding of clean energy, energy efficiency business and related customer needs and market trends. The individual should have the passion and motivation to drive performance and growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling technical and commercial requests from customers to close orders to achieve sales targets.

  • Analyze the market / competition and prepare sales strategies.

  • Retain existing customers and convert new accounts to customers.

  • Capture and update opportunities in the sales tool, prepare sales reports.

  • Provide detailed and accurate forecasting.

  • Identify and sell service/retrofit business opportunities on the installed base.

  • Work closely with the proposal and project team.

  • Coordinate with HQ/ factories / vendors to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

  • Prepare required documents for internal project approval process as per company guidelines

  • Must have a Degree or Diploma in Engineering.

  • Degree in Energy Engineering will be preferred

  • Minimum 10 years experience in sustainability, clean energy and energy efficiency projects

  • Must have knowledge on clean energy systems, energy decarbonization and energy analytics

  • Knowledge with the usage of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).


  • Very Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.

  • Should be a team player.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work in a multinational environment.

  • Commercial knowledge and understanding contracts
