Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a well balanced and objective demand plan that supports business strategic direction, supply chain capacity planning and replenishment requirements.
  • Leverage statistical forecast & insghts based on historical data/ benchmarking information and embedded into discussions and plan

  • Partner with commercial and Marketing team to assess and capture relevant local and regional market information that will influence demand based on Brand strategies and/or market trends

  • Engage in Gap to Target discussions and work cross functionally to capture and update assumptions, supported by data drive approach, to address gaps.

  1. Cultivate a forecasting continuous improvement mindset within the region and globally and “always strive to create the best predictions of demand”.

  2. Develop and run analysis to evaluate consumer sales and selling in patterns and make demand plan predictions considering product transitions, availability, demand shifts, promotions, events, competitor and market insights where applicable.

  3. Drive outstanding forecast accuracy through deep data analytics and insights, development of demand planning capability and process improvements.

  4. As key process owners, work cross functionally to design, develop and implement regional processes which synergizes cross functionally with an E2E mindset

  5. Identify and participate in supply chain demand planning improvement initiatives

Do you have what it takes?

  • More than 5 years experience, with degree in engineering, operations, supply chain management, business or a related field preferred.

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management, such as ones from the Project Management Institute (PMI), or supply chain/operations certification, such as APICS or CPIM, are preferred.

  • More than 5 years of work experience in demand and supply management in FMCG industry, with good understanding of retail, planning and stock management strategies

  • Strong academic credentials with demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to work well in a command-and-control role under pressure with strict time demand and deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders

  • Data presentation and analysis using data analytics tools such as Advanced Excel/Power BI or Tableau
