Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented
In this role, you will:
Supervise the PSD works for turnkey projects which include engineering, coordination, installation and testing & commissioning
Ensure the PSD subcontractor or supplier completes all PSD works stipulated in the contracts by main contractor and client
Liaise with client, system operator, professional staff, project teams and contractors and suppliers
Perform overall validation on the PSD system submissions and ensure it complies with the project requirements and other standards.
Review the design, technical issues and resolve matter relating to PSD system and other interfacing systems
Review and submit relevant documents, drawings, reports and other deliverables
Monitor the PSD work schedule, progress and activities to be completed by supplier or subcontractor
Review factory acceptance test, procedures and relevant certification for submission
Assist the PSD Manager on updates, progress status and ensure PSD works are aligned to the overall project activities and schedule
Attend meetings with civil contractors and system wide contractors including internal stakeholders such as signalling, system assurance, cybersecurity and condition monitoring
Supervise and monitor the construction and T&C works of Platform Screen Doors for all stations
Follow up on the defects liability matters and rectifications after handover or/and completion of each phase of the project
Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid
Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering/ Railway Engineering
Candidates with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Engineering field/railway Signalling and PSD system and/or railway project management will be considered
Technical knowledge on electrical/electronic system design, mechanical, functions and hands-on experience on engineering works
Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders and contractors.
Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, safety, quality, contract, and programme management would be an advantage
Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works including system interfacing
Good knowledge on network design and protocol, system integration and system maintenance
Able to perform and participate in site-walks/inspection with contractors and client
Team player who is analytical, resourceful, proactive and well organized
Proficient on Microsoft applications
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage (when liaise with Chinese speaking associates).
