Process Engineer
We’re seeking a dedicated Process Engineer to develop and refine manufacturing processes while providing exceptional technical support. In this role, you'll design and implement production workflows, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency. You’ll also engage directly with customers to resolve service-related challenges and ensure their satisfaction. Key Requirements
Education & Experience
NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, or related technical disciplines preferred.
Candidates with relevant ITE certifications and strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Minimum 2-4 years of production or assembly/planning experience, particularly in electronics, sensor assembly, or similar precision-based manufacturing environments.
Experience in PCBA soldering and handling small components is required.
Prior experience in a cleanroom or ISO-controlled production environment is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly tasks independently according to Work Instructions (WI) and quality standards.
Ensure timely completion of daily production targets and output goals.
Meet key performance indicators such as production completion rate, first-pass yield, and product quality.
Support continuous improvement by suggesting or implementing process optimisations.
Participate actively in training sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge.
Maintain proper waste handling procedures and uphold 5S and safety practices on the production floor.
Perform additional duties or support tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.
Production Planning :Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and schedule production activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer demands. Manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support production planning and execution.
Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed specified requirements.Conduct regular quality inspections and testing throughout the production process, implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.Analyze quality data to identify trends
Qualifications
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail for hands-on assembly work.
Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes or troubleshooting preferred.
Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently or as part of a team.
Positive work attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new processes or equipment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with customers.
