PURPOSE STATEMENT:

This is a 6-month role as an HR specialist to provide generalist HR support to the Southeast Asia organization to enable smooth business operations. You will play a role in active participation in HR initiatives to drive employee engagement.

DIMENSIONS:

Countries : Singapore (base), Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding:

  • Manage the onboarding process of new hires which includes confirming seating plan, drafting new hire announcements, planning induction schedules, supporting new hires in settling in

  • Manage the offboarding process of departing employees and contractors which includes updating payroll vendors and providing inputs on termination payments, prepare certificates of employment and any other supporting letters as needed, process tax clearances etc.

  • Update organization chart, office seating layout and email distribution lists as and when there are employee changes

  • Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries

  • Support employee engagement activities and promote a positive work culture

  • Payroll and contract administration:

  • Provide inputs to and coordinate with various payroll vendors to ensure timely payroll processing and legal compliance

  • Upload payroll data into designated bank portals for monthly payroll crediting

  • Track contract expiry dates of active contractors and provide support for next steps as necessary – renewal, extension or offboarding

  • HR Administration:

  • Serve as HR point of contact for financial audits, providing clarifications and documentation where needed

  • Provide inputs for all compulsory manpower surveys from MOM etc.

  • Process all HR related invoices to enable timely payment

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation

Qualifications:

  • Education background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong foundation in HR principles and practices, with actual experience

  • Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws is a must, experience/knowledge with all other countries is a plus

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, resourceful and proactive

  • Ability to work independently and a quick learner

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint is a must, experience with HRIS (Success Factors) is a plus
