Commander, Navy Installations HOUSING MANAGER in Singapore, Singapore

Summary You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER ofCOMMANDER SINGAPORE AREA COORDINATOR . ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below. Responsibilities You will be responsible for operation and utilization of 71 government leased family housing units, 6 permanent party unaccompanied units (12 rooms). You will recommend changes to procedures and policies to improve performance and internal controls. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate all major activities/projects for government-leased unaccompanied and/or family housing, and all associated facilities for the installation. You will interface with Singapore Government, Singapore directed developers, contractors, and community leaders to develop and maintain a partnership to meet overall Housing and Lodging objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing housing management operations, developing housing management plans/procedures, AND collaborating with partners and community leaders. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement and Alternate Placement Programs. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. Pay retention may be granted when certain conditions are met. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
