Head of International Casualty Analytics, Commercial Risk

Join Aon’s Risk Capital Analytics leadership team and play an important role in shaping the future of our insurance and reinsurance analytical platforms, enabling our brokers to engage with our clients and support them in meeting their goals. This role will be based in Singapore, with hybrid workstyle options.

What the day will look like

  • Leveraging your deep experience of industry tools and best practices, and your ability to lead and gain followership internally and with clients, you’ll be responsible for creating and then distributing International Casualty risk analytics to brokers; showing them how and training them to deliver tools and cutting edge insights to our clients.

  • To enable this, you’ll work with and provide direction to our analytics teams globally, to create and enhance our toolkits, calculators, and platforms to produce industry leading insights. This will require you to drive through significant organisational change and lead a team who will be based across globally.

  • You will also be liaising and interacting with many of our clients to ensure you understand their needs and keep abreast of market developments.

  • On a regular basis, we’ll expect you to take part in marketing activities and campaigns, to speak at conferences and produce thought-leadership articles; all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in International Casualty Analytics.

  • Ability to drive a vision for International Casualty analytics that will allow us to continue to adapt to the sophisticated needs of Aon clients, in this generation and the next.

  • Perceived as an expert in International Casualty analytics

  • Significant Experience in driving advanced International Casualty analytics capability within a brokerage or an insurance carrier.

  • Possesses a technical background; actuarial skills useful but not essential

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to demonstrate sound business and financial acumen

  • Have strong industry networking skills and knowledge

  • Have excellent sales and marketing skills

  • Strong team-working capabilities & ability to build a high performance team
