Job Description Summary

Support the cross functional team to deliver on all program(s) deliverables within the terms and conditions of the contract and business case. Executes standard sales tasks and typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. May be responsible for targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small/medium sales territories.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • All contract performance related activities, tied to customer(s) or program(s).

  • Perform as interface between the customer and the internal business team, managing the transfer of information and requests.

  • Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, and variations, solutions to issues.

  • Responsible for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.

  • Broadening knowledge of product lines, markets and customer groups to execute program strategy. Still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

  • Initiate, analyze and maintain service billing and tracking issuance of service dispatch orders.

  • Responsible for repair monitoring and replenishment of available parts and to drive fulfillment of repair orders as well as managing repair vendors.

  • Support program cost productivity to achieve planned contractual margin.

  • Manage in-country stock and support audit for inventory as directed. Manage and handle customer transactions for posting into financial ERP system.

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • Support resolution to manage issues in situations that require commercial knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Provide support for all incoming shipments from repairs and new purchases into ERP system.

  • Coordinates with customer fulfillment team for for all incoming and out-going shipments and repairs.

  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree university or a high school diploma with relevant experience.

  • This role prefers 3 years of experience in the administration of long term contracts with working experience in customer service engagement roles.

  • Knowledge and experience with airline or MRO is a must.
