What you will do

In this vital role you, the Associate Manager of Quality Assurance at Amgen, oversee the daily operations of the quality assurance team, ensuring that the company's products meet established quality standards. You’ll implement and manage QA systems, coordinate audits, and lead initiatives to address and prevent quality issues.

Key Activities:

  • Supporting Amgen Biotechnology Singapore Pte. Ltd to hold wholesale and import license in Singapore

  • Maintain and Implement an effective Quality System that meet H.S.A. Guidance Notes on Good Distribution Practice.

  • Management of wholesale and distribution activities of Amgen’s product in Singapore.

  • Review and approving Quality records.

  • Ensuring that initial and continuous training programs are implemented and maintained.

  • Coordinating and promptly performing any recall operations in collaboration for Recall Executive Committee

  • Ensuring that customer complaint are dealt effectively according to Standard Operating Procedures

  • Ensuring that suppliers and customers are legally approved or authorized to enable lawful supply of products

  • Approving subcontract activities that may impact on Good Distribution Practice

  • Ensuring that self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals according to approved plan and necessary Corrective and Preventive action are put in place

  • Keeping appropriate records of any delegated duties

  • Deciding on the final product disposition

  • Approving any returns to saleable stock n. Ensuring that any additional requirements imposed on certain products by national legislation are adhered contactable by authority by way of mobile phone number or an electronic mail address

Qualifications

  • Registered as Pharmacist under the Singapore Pharmacist Registration Act (Cap. 230)

  • Hold a valid practicing certificate granted under section 23 of that Act and

  • In Active Practice as defined in regulation 2 of the Pharmacist Registration (Practicing certificates) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No.: S 438/2008)

  • Knowledge and experience on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) related activities and understand GDP requirements.
