Mansfield Service Partners is looking for an Material Handler / CDL Driver for our Sidney, OH location. Job Scope This position will handle and deliver petroleum products and DEF within the Lubricants department to various locations and customers. This position will also maintain a warehouse and its inventory. The position will lead their area by emphasizing safety, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. Job Summary The ideal candidate will quickly establish themselves as the Ohio Valley's subject matter expert (SME) in proper lubricant handling and storage, including adherence to Supplier DPQA requirements and industry best practices. The Driver/Warehouse Associate will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of lubricants to customers using stakebed or box trucks, while consistently seeking ways to enhance routing efficiency. Additionally, this position encompasses responsibility for warehouse operations, including inventory management, forklift operation, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. Key duties include planning and executing warehouse activities, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper sanitation, and managing equipment and inventory to support smooth operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Transports Lubricants and DEF by stakebed or box trucks safely to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations. Checks loads to ensure product is being hauled in an appropriate and safe manner. Maintains radio contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions. Completes pre- and post-trip inspections on truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights brakes, gas, fuel, oil, and water. Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as minor roadside repairs and determine physical condition. Reports defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to company vehicle. Recognize unsafe work conditions and suggesting new safety standards as appropriate. Responsible for communicating equipment conditions, or repair needs to appropriate persons. Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs in tandem with safety team. Maintain Forklift Certification, and operate equipment safely Maintain a compliant, organized & clean warehouse. Collaborate internally with Accounting, OSS, OSE, Logistics, and Terminal Manager for process improvements and resolving issues timely. Observes OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations. Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Keeps equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness. Assure proper & accurate ordering and receiving of products. Record and maintain proper records on all shipments and receipts, to include actual receiving of products into our systems. Collect, retain, and log samples for bulk products for quality assurance. Maintain proper inventory accuracy by audits and formal inventory counts. Responsible for proper stock rotation (FIFO) consolidation & organization. Establish inventory min-max range for all products and ensure product is not overstocked nor at risk of becoming old/obsolete Development of a 'hot sheet' to ensure products avoid obsolescence. Strives to meet customer expectations without exception and achieve highly positive customer satisfaction survey results consistent with strategic objectives. Be prompt and courteous to customers, co-workers, and everyone they interact with. Develops extensive working relationships with customers, both external and internal, in order to maximize opportunities and to ensure customer needs are addressed. Develop internal and external business relationships - i.e. Valvoline, suppliers, etc. Assist & collaborate with sales team to facilitate sales to existing and onboarding of new customers.
