UL, LLC Senior Client Services Specialist in Shenzhen, China

  • Organizes and coordinates assigned client account work in a timely and profitable manner.

  • Ensures that assigned accounts are on track at all times providing regular updates to the client.

  • Proactively obtains status updates for ongoing projects.

  • Offers proactive solutions to the client when informing them of an issue.

  • Provides quotes, organizes and processes samples for assigned client accounts.

  • Coordinates work with the Operations team, QA and Business Support and other pertinent employees.

  • Prepares client proposals, report, specifications, technical information, etc.

  • Follows up on inquiry calls; respond to specific client inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Participates in trade shows and technical conferences.

  • Presents obtained knowledge and information to team/appropriate coworkers after event.

  • Works with business support to bill clients in a timely, concise and profitable manner.

  • Provides training to colleagues on programs and processes.

  • Also provides technical support to in house employees as needed.

  • Maintains up to date knowledge of regulations and product expertise and utilize that knowledge to develop new business with clients.

  • Provide technical consultation to clients directly and/or through coordination with internal technical team.

  • Keeps up to date with regulations and provide updates to clients.

  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Review client program files to ensure proper onboarding and handover of new clients from Sales teams. Review work documents to ensure program steps and tools can be operationalized. Refine work documents as needed.

  • Ensure Program Requirements are clearly documented, communicated, and updated throughout the organization. 3. Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Support Services, Quality Assurance, Sales, Business Development and other affiliated stakeholders to ensure that clients experience superior service.

  • Prepare client proposals, report specifications, technical information, and leverage data to add value for client programs.

  • Provides guidance and resolves escalated issues for new and existing clients.

  • Monitors and assists in continuously improving the delivery of client program services. This includes day-to-day oversight over the speed and quality of work for assigned client(s), whether that is delivered by support staff, or work personally done.

  • Addresses issues, including quality, accounts receivable, support.

  • Ensures delivery of client specific reports (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), as needed to clients.

  • Updates supervisor on client program status – revenue, challenges and opportunities. Recommend improvements to process and programs internally to Operations and externally with clients.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • General degree or equivalent, preferably in Technical/Engineering Discipline plus generally five years of related experience.

  • Familiarity with government agencies and regulations as they apply.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.

  • Must be able to identify problems and offer workable solutions.
