Part-Time Accounting Manager – Shelton, CT
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for a flexible, part-time role with an amazing company culture? Robert Half has partnered with a small, family-owned global manufacturing business in Shelton, CT is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Manager to join their team. This permanent role offers 24-30 hours per week with a flexible schedule, competitive compensation based on experience, and fantastic benefits.
As the Accounting Manager, you'll report directly to the CFO/General Manager and play a key role in overseeing general ledger accounting and office management responsibilities. This position is replacing a valued team member who is retiring.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Bank Reconciliations
Manage general ledger accounting: Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Handle office management duties and payroll processing.
Collaborate with the CFO/GM on improvement initiatives.
Work independently while maintaining excellent organizational skills.
What You Bring to the Role
Previous accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or small-business setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of Sage accounting software is helpful but not required.
Commitment to professionalism and teamwork within a close-knit office environment.

Requirements
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager/Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency with Sage 100 and ADP payroll systems a plus
• Strong understanding of general ledger function
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Part Time (24-30 hours)
