Description Robert Half has partnered with a successful Healthcare/NHS firm in finding an experienced Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented to join their growing team. You will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. How you will make an impact
Complete a wide range of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks
Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment
Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP
Verify codes and documents
Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders
Promote, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans Requirements - Billing Collection experience
General familiarity with Commercial Insurance
Claim Denials experience
Adeptness in medicare
Practical knowledge of Pivot Table
Demonstrated knowledge of medicaid
Microsoft Excel experience desired
Collection operations experience
Proficiency in Collection Processes
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Current and relevant ERP system experience
