We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RCM Associate in Accounts Receivable to join our team at our Sheboygan, WI office. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a comprehensive understanding of medical billing. We are looking for a team member that has experience with the entire RCM process with a focus on payer AR and handling of Workman\'s Comp cases. This role is client facing and includes a good deal of interaction with clients, patients when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Manage and follow up on filed claims, including accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement from payers. Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and payment denials. Process claims, adjustments, and appeals in compliance with insurance policies and regulations. Generate and review AR aging reports to track and resolve outstanding balances. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to resolve payment issues. Maintain accurate records and documentation of AR activities. Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and improve AR processes. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in medical billing accounts receivable. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to reason and solve practical problems efficiently. Adaptability: Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work. Spanish speaking a plus.
