AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Amazon Web Services has supported over 10,000 local startups and has provided cloud skills training to over 700,000 talents. Key job responsibilities

This Senior Program Manager supporting AWS Senior executive is a highly visible role which serves as a business liaison, program leader and consultant on various business and technical topics across programs. The candidate for this position may possess deep knowledge and expertise in certain technical or business fields, and is expected to thinks strategically, takes initiatives, and operates effectively with leadership skills to influence partners and stakeholders across internal teams.

• Collaborate across organizations and represent from vertical business point of view to produce narratives and consolidated documents to be presented to various business review meetings with senior leadership both locally and internationally

• Drive the creation of content for executive presentations.

• Attend business/program review meetings, provide feedback and ask questions on areas that stand out.

• Ensure strong follow-up management on action items and questions.

• Collaboration with Sales Operation team for the annual planning process, agenda/topics for leadership meetings (quarterly, offsite).

• Act as consultant to various internal teams or projects. Support teams needing help thinking through problems (both business and communications).

• Develop mechanisms to drive best practice sharing across programs.

• Exploring trends and companies that present strategic opportunities or risks.

• Participate in and drive internal press release reviews.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience industry research and analyst relate to high-tech industry or management consulting background

  • 5+ years’ experience engaging with Senior Executives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Proven, successful track record of influencing across the organization and leading others cross-functionally to deliver on projects and goal

  • Proven, successful track record of working with headquarters on global projects

  • BA/BS Degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree (accredited)

  • Strong business acumen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding and knowhow on cloud industry

  • International working background with nearly native English-speaking capability
