Job Responsibilities
Manage overall charter & implementation of Boehringer Ingelheim TCM strategic and BD projects (PMO)：
Lead strategic and BD initiatives implementation, working closely with cross-functional team members to drive project execution, facilitate cross-functional problem solving, and escalate issues and propose action plans as appropriate.
Define PMO metrics and framework. Continuously optimize PMO procedures for robust and efficient project management.
Secure visibility of project progress/risks across different work streams; Facilitate cross-functional problem solving and agree on solutions and contingency plan.
Accelerate problem solving through proper escalation.
Generate reports for Leadership Team update on timely basis.
Advise Strategy Development：
Build holistic overview of overall market landscape for Boehringer Ingelheim TCM across our three BUs and identify opportunities and challenges for Boehringer Ingelheim 's current and future business.
Closely monitor and analyze key trends and changes in China Healthcare Reforms, Pharmaceutical Industry, Biotech Industry and Animal Health Industry.
Develop scenarios of the future industry ecosystem, formulate strategic options, propose innovative business opportunities (e.g., commercial models) for Boehringer Ingelheim TCM business (Human Pharma, Animal Health and Bio China).
Create materials for strategic review for Human Pharma, Bio China, Animal Health or TCM as requested.
-Support other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
University degree, preferably in scientific or business subjects (pharmaceutical, biology, economics, etc.), Advanced degree a plus (Master's, MBA).
Excellent oral and written English.
Excellent working attitude and values.
Solid data analytical, excel modeling, PowerPoint and presentation skills.
5+ years of working experience, with 3+ years of management consulting experience within global consulting firm (focusing on life science, healthcare, animal health) or -Pharmaceutical / Animal Health industry in China.
Strategic planning, and/or other analytical experience preferred.
