Google Customer Onboarding Strategist, Acquisitions, Google Customer Solutions in Shanghai, China

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, or a sales role.

  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.

  • 2 years of experience working in a digital agency, with a Google product focus.

  • Ability to reach out to customers/cold calling and help customers to add value to their business.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Working with our new customers as they go through a sustainable onboarding period, you will set the outlook and the strategy for how their products and services reach users. You will work with a set of new customers for six months to make them successful long-term and grow the next generation of high-potential customers for Google. You will work with a highly engaged team and bring creativity to grow and transform.

In this role, you will utilize product knowledge, consultative selling, and account management, working cross-functionally with our acquisitions, product, program, and same-store teams.

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.

  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and program teams to deliver seamless customer handover. Communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email.

  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.

  • Provide strategic advice to help our advertisers get the best return on their investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
