Cedar Fair Part-Time EMT Medical Responder in SHAKOPEE, Minnesota

Overview:

$ 20 / hour

This is an entry-level, hourly, seasonal position with an average of 16-32 hours per week.

Responds to fire and medical emergencies and give competent care to guests and associates within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Cedar Fair protocols.

  • Responds to and assists with park emergencies and assist with the regular maintenance of emergency equipment.

  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Must possess a valid NREMT and/or EMSRB Certifications and be in good standing.

  • First Aid Certification

  • CPR Certification

  • Driver's License

  • Professional and outgoing individuals with the ability to show compassion and empathy at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific uniform and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
