Aerotek Production Supervisor in Seward, Nebraska
SAFETY SUPERVISOR - SALARY POSITION - 2ND SHIFT - BENEFITS
We are looking for a safety supervisor that will lead and oversee the safe and sanitary operation of the manufacturing process. You will perform tasks that will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety / food safety policies in certain sections of the facility. This is a brand new facility that specializes in freeze dried products. A great company to work with and competitive benefits.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety or personnel safety.
• Requests and directs services of maintenance, sanitation and other personnel as needed to achieve the desired level and quality of production.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure solid work relationships always exist.
• Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating issues to minimize their impact on the operations.
• Keep accurate and up to date records (I. e. ADP timecards, staff schedule, etc.)
Pay: $70k - $85k
