Providence St. Joseph Health Social Worker MSW-Providence Seward in Seward, Alaska
The Social Worker MSW provides services to patients/residents and their families/caregivers to meet their social and emotional needs as they relate to their medical diagnoses and concerns. They collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive treatment, recovery, and safe and coordinated transition from one care environment to another. They work to protect and advocate for the rights of patients/residents and ensures that they receive highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each patient.

We are hiring for a Social Worker MSW at Providence Seward Medical Center in Seward, AK!
Position is onsite, full time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, and 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree as a Social Worker from an accredited School of Social Work.
Upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License, or
Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years Medical Social Work experience.
Experience with computerized documentation and medical records is preferred at the time of hire.
