Army Installation Management Command Assistant Business Manager NF-04 in Seward, Alaska

Summary This position is located with the FMWR Seward Military Resort located in Seward, Alaska. Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or a retention incentive may be authorized. Responsibilities Recommends and carries out instructions and directives as necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Reviews programs to identify strengths and weaknesses. Recommends or carries out corrective measure as appropriate. Reviews financial reports, plans, costs, and budget. Evaluates success in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Possess one (1) year of work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e. resort, hotel, tourism industry) to be managed. Highly Preferred: Candidates that possess highly preferred criteria and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. Criteria is verified within the application package. Possess one (1) year of experience in hotel or front desk management. Possess campground/RV Park experience. Possess six (6) months experience with property management system software. Possess one (1) year FMWR supervisory experience. Possess experience with directing and/or programming outdoor activities and events. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be paid. Up to 25% recruitment or relocation and/or a retention incentive may be authorized. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
