Hilton SPA Receptionist in Seoul, South Korea

SUMMARY:

This position is concerned with ensuring all Guests’ queries or requests are handled in polite, friendly, professionally and efficiently. Also to adhere to all Hotels credit policies and revenue expected will be achieved

MAIN DUTIES:

General Administration

§To maximize spa sales and revenue for the department.

§To maintain and update guest profiles as laid down in the procedures.

§Promptly handles daily in-coming mail and internal correspondence.

Functional Responsibilities

§To ensure guests receive a fast, efficient check-in and check-out service.

§To ensure all guests’ queries or requests are handled in a polite, friendly and efficient manner.

§To adhere to pre-set availability and rate controls of the spa membership, treatments & packages etc.

§To ensure a high level of product knowledge of the spa, hotel and local area.

§To accurately post all charges to the folios and ensure all charges on members and guest accounts are accurate with sufficient back up for the member and guest’s review.

§To assign locker keys or safety deposit boxes to members or guest on request.

§To arrange appointments and reservations for members and hotel guests.

§To answer inquiries pertaining to the status of members and guest accounts.

§To ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.

§To ensure that all the rebates and paid-out vouchers are signed bySpa Manager/MOD...

§To prepare and balance a cash report and remittance envelope at the end of the shift.

§To ensure that the cash float is balanced.

§Be familiar with the hotel safety, current first aid and fire emergency procedures.

§Analyses, evaluates and improves personal performance on a continual basis.

§To report and give feedback to the Spa Manager if always in doubt pertaining on any matters

Other Accountabilities

§To ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opportunities within the spa and hotel.

§To adhere to all Hotels credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.

§To maintain the working area is clean and tidy at all times.

§Answers and handles all incoming telephone calls for the department according to the hotels standards or procedures.

§Maintains strictest confidentiality at all times on all matters.

§Abide by the Hotel code of conduct.

§Abide by the Hotel Employee Handbook.

§Abide by the Hotel policies and procedures.

§Carry out other tasks as directed by the Spa Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

§Excellent written and spoken Korean & English are a must.

§Good computer skills with minimum requirement in use of Microsoft Windows 98 or higher, Microsoft Office 97 or higher, Internet and other popular software.

§Good interpersonal & communication skills.

§Ability to work independently and as a team.

§Education:University Graduate.

§Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in Spa or Hotel industry as Receptionist or Guest Agent.
