HP Inc. Online Marketplace Business Development Lead in Seoul, South Korea

The Omnichannel GTM Marketplaces team is set up with a vision to Improve HP's Brand value in the fastest growing RTM; Online Marketplaces, by ensuring best-in-class Customer Experience.

Over the next 3 years, Online marketplaces are expected to contribute over 30% of retail business in most Asian countries & given this significant growth of online marketplaces & digital transformation in Asia over the years to come, HP is looking to hire a talented, energetic, and ambitious Online Marketplace Business Development Manager to lead and manage our marketplace strategy & business development activities In Korea

Responsibilities:

  • Support in formulating and executing marketplace strategies, develop & align Joint Business Plans (JBP).

  • Deliver monthly plans for revenue growth and ensure profit targets are met across both 1P & 3Pbusiness models.

  • Hyper grow and accelerate HP Brand official store in marketplaces, work closely with 3P HP Online Authorized Retail Partner (OARP) sellers, and PBMs to improve their profitability and catalog coverage.

  • Coordinating across functional teams (category and channel organization) to drive sales strategies to grow our Marketplace business, to achieve sales/ revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement a strategic product roadmap, working closely with relevant Category Managers and Buyers.

  • In conjunction with HP's marketing teams, design and execute effective promotions strategy to push sales numbers as well as uplift visibility and awareness of HP across marketplaces, with a focus on driving sales,

  • Critically analyze sales performance to identify action points, opportunities, and threats to drive topline revenue.

  • Tracking and analyzing marketplace trends, operations, and systems identifying processes to optimize

  • Build strategic partnerships with Marketplace platforms, including relationships with the C-level. Plus, with HP's distribution partners.

  • Communicating with senior management on the status, risks, and performance of marketplace programs and adjusting strategic roadmaps accordingly.

  • Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.

  • Provide support to the Qualified Marketplaces (QMP) or OARP, Marketplaces Partner Approved (MPA 2.0) and Analytical Business Intelligence programs.

  • Promote CX improvements and optimizations in top marketplaces to help increase Conversion Rate and Sales

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis for decision-making.

  • Support presentations, storytelling, staff meetings, and meetings with internal and external partners

  • Structure analytical approaches and develop project strategies and tactics.

  • Support the development of project guidelines, objectives, and deliverables.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Know the strengths and weaknesses of key competitors in the account and how to leverage this knowledge in the account.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketplace platforms business objectives, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure.

  • Considerable knowledge of the customer's infrastructure and architecture of the platform algorithm.

  • Strategic planning on a business development level; can build an effective business case reflecting the value of an appropriate strategy.

  • Balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.

  • Uses C-level engagement skills in collaboration with account leads to offer value-add solutions to the client.

  • Excellent project oversight skills.

  • Works with the account team to build an effective account plan and strategy to drive incremental revenue in the account.

  • Successful partner engagement experience. Works effectively with our partners to drive additional revenue.

  • Leverage HP partner ecosystem for geographic and footprint expansion of digital coverage models

  • Establish a program framework to help partners transform their digital business models
