Data Center Operations installs and maintains the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure. We are looking for Data Centre Operations trainees to join our Data Center Operation team. Our scope of work includes hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting, repairing servers with hardware replacement, dealing with network issues and assisting in Data Center maintenance. You will be excited to work effectively with minimum supervision and handle multiple priorities. Amazon Data Canters are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of Cloud Technology in the region.

We are looking for candidates to commit to 3-month (fulltime) contracts and we are committed to provide theoretical and practical training. Also, candidates will experience mentoring with periodic assessments to help developing your skills. If successful after the 3-month period, you have an opportunity to be converted to the Amazon family's full time job. You will be exposed to the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure. The role involves some periods working remotely and independently from your team and requires the ability to drive change while maintaining excellent communication.

AWS의 데이터센터 운영팀은 세계 최대의 클라우드 컴퓨팅 인프라를 설치 및 유지 관리하고 있으며, 인프라 운영에 관심이 있는 분들을 대상으로 트레이니 프로그램을 진행합니다. 운영팀의 업무 범위에는 하드웨어 진단 및 교체를 통한 서버 복구, 네트워크 장애 해결, 데이터 센터 유지 보수 지원 등이 포함됩니다.

데이터센터 트레이니 프로그램은 3 개월 계약직으로 운영되며, 근무 기간 동안 데이터센터 관련 이론 및 실무 교육을 받게 되고 멘토링을 통해 기술 및 직무를 폭 넓게 경험 할 수 있습니다. 이후, 프로그램을 마치는 시점에 평가를 통해 AWS Data Center Technician으로 채용 되는 기회를 제공 받을 수 있습니다. 우수한 의사 소통 능력 및 왕성한 호기심을 가지고 새로운 것을 배우는 데 관심이 많으신 후보자의 적극적 지원을 기다리고 있습니다.

Key job responsibilities

There is never a dull moment as each day presents itself with different challenges. Some of the key responsibilities you will be trained on are:

• Troubleshooting data center server and network issues

• Hardware diagnostics and replacement

• Physical installation of server and network devices

• Storage media (HDD, SSD etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks

• Contribute in projects to improve DC work environment and operational efficiencies

• Collaborate with both internal and global teams including Engineering, Logistics, Security, Safety and etc.

• Work with external/3rd party vendors and contractors to achieve organization needs

• (**Shift work is included depending on the nature of the job.)

Basic Qualifications

• Associate degree or above (Applicants are expected to graduate in August 2024 or graduated)

• Less than 1 years of IT-related experience

• Those who can work for more than 3 months from July 2024

• Those who can work continuously from Oct 2024 if they become eligible for conversion to regular employees through job evaluation

• Ability to use MS office

• Applicants must have valid work authorization in Korea

• Applicants must not have restriction of traveling abroad

• This role involves covering 24x7 shift rotation

• 전문학사 또는 그 이상 학위를 보유하신 분 (졸업 예정이거나 또는 2024년 7월 기준으로 12개월 이내 졸업하신 분)

• 신입 혹은 1년 미만 IT관련 경력을 보유하신 분

• 2024년 7월부터 3개월 이상 근무 가능하신 분

• 업무평가를 통해 정규직 전환대상자가 될 경우 2024년 10월부터 연속근무 가능하신 분

• MS office 활용 능력을 보유하신 분

• 국내법상 대한민국 내에서 취업 및 근로 가능하신 분

• 해외여행 결격 사유가 없으신 분

• 24X7 교대 근무 가능하신 분

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience of Linux, server OS, knowledge of computer hardware and installation, troubleshooting (Less than 1 year)

• Experience/certification of networking device setup and configuration

• Experience of software programming

• Business level of English communication skills

• 리눅스, 서버 운용시스템, 하드웨어 지식 및 설치, 문제 해결 관한 실습/실무 경험(2년 미만)

• 네트워크 관련 장치 설비 및 환경설정에 관한 실습/실무 경험자 혹은 네트워크 자격증 소유

• 소프트웨어 프로그래밍 관련 경험

• Business Level 이상의 영어 커뮤니케이션 능력 보유자
