LifePath, Inc. Human Resource Assistant in Sellersville, Pennsylvania

This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Job Fair which will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2024, at Upper Bucks County Technical School, 3115 Ridge Rd., Perkasie, PA  18944.  The Job Fair hours are 2:15 PM -- 4:00 PM.  For more information on the Multi-Industry Job Fair, please contact Regina Labor at c-rlabor@buckscounty.org.

Provides support services to Human Resource department to meet organizational goals and objectives related to the Human Resource function.

The successful candidate will have an Associate's Degree in related field and One (1) year experience working in Human Resources.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Recruitment
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Make job offers and obtain necessary information to conduct appropriate  background checks.
  • Schedule and notify applicant of initial orientation training.
  • Ensure completion of all new employee paperwork prior to and at orientation training.
  • Ensure appropriate record keeping requirements based on federal & state laws.

Data Entry/Databases/Reporting

  • Enter all employee information into HR database -- including new hires; employee name, address, phone number changes, etc.
  • Report to appropriate agencies new hire information.
  • Enter all disciplines, "no drives", leaves, etc. into appropriate databases
  • Electronically enroll/cancel/update employee insurance information
  • Compile and distribute monthly physical/TB reports, Evaluations, No Drive Lists, etc.
  • Review and process all Personnel Action Sheets (PAS) and forwards to Payroll promptly.

Maintain Files

  • File all appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Update Human Resource Change page in files as appropriate.
  • Ensure that files are maintained in accordance with all applicable laws.

Benefits

  • Process appropriate paperwork for: tuition reimbursement, FMLA, recognitions, finder's fee, insurance, etc.
  • Notify employees of any changes in their benefit status, including COBRA notification for terminations/resignations and/or change of status.
  • Assist in Open Enrollment annually.

Other Duties:

  • Completes appropriate requests for employee information from outside sources (ex: mortgage applications, loans, welfare, Unemployment, etc.)
  • Ensures timeliness in completion of all paperwork.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationship with all departments.
  • Reviews monthly insurance, MVR, medical and state police invoices for accuracy & makes changes as appropriate.
  • Participate in grievance, discipline, etc. process as required.
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Assists other office personnel/Director in projects as requested.
  • Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.
