Solar Atmospheres Assembly Mechanic in Sellersville, Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for 1st shift Mechanical Assembly position (6:00am -- 2:30pm, Monday -- Friday).  The ideal candidate should be reliable and punctual with a good work ethic. Prior mechanical experience in automotive or industrial setting is preferred.

Are you a match?

  • Technical School degree or High School Diploma (GED) plus relevant work experience.
  • 2-4 years of industrial manufacturing, maintenance, or machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to use and operate basic hand tools, measuring devices, powered portable tools, pneumatic tools, and stationary shop equipment.
  • Ability to competently operate material handling equipment such as forklift truck and cranes.
  • Ability to competently read and understand mechanical assembly drawings and schematics, engineering specifications, OEM instruction and shop manuals.
  • Ability to analyze and solve assembly problems.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, work on a creeper, and climb ladders, plus ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to perform MIG & TIG welding of carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Ability to perform OA torch cutting is desirable.

What your day would be like:

  • Mechanical assembly and construction of vacuum furnaces and their sub-assemblies.
  • Assembly of steel structures, pipe fitting and welding
