Within a group with high Safety and Quality requirements, where continuous improvement is at the core of the company's strategy, you will take on the role of Continuous Improvement Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of the culture of continuous improvement within the site, as well as creating engagement and playing a key role in the execution of the site's plan and the group's strategy. You will be a key player in promoting dsm-firmenich's values in terms of safety, health, and quality of life at work. You will report to the Extended Management Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage all site employees to become major contributors to continuous improvement.

  • Lead and animate the Lean management approach on the site through activity management.

  • Develop and support the managerial line in the Kaizen approach within the site, using simple methods based on close management and problem-solving workshops.

  • Drive innovation and ensure the implementation of the best ideas generated from multidisciplinary meetings.

  • Lead improvement projects integrated into the Manufacturing Plan or within the TTH division.

  • Regularly connect with other sites to identify and implement relevant and potential improvement actions for the site.

Operational Missions

  • Act as the daily liaison for management to ensure the sharing of the vision and effective communication.

  • Facilitate interdepartmental relationships to enhance the efficiency of cross-functional activities.

  • Facilitate ITF meetings, multidisciplinary meetings, and problem-solving meetings.

  • Lead the site’s continuous improvement steering committee.

  • Report on IMPACT KPIs at the site and TTH levels.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices, including the use of "Measure sheets" (valorization of improvement ideas), and measure maturity levels using practice evaluation tools (TRACC).

  • Conduct training sessions on the theme of continuous improvement.

  • Ensure the relevance and suitability of actions implemented as part of initiatives defined in meetings at the field level.

You bring:

  • Engineer with a Master's degree (BAC+5) ideally specializing in industrial performance management.

  • Experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the food or chemical industries.

  • Proficiency in performance analysis tools (OEE / Six Sigma / Office software); expertise in risk analysis, HAZOP, HACCP; knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO / SHE / Reg).

  • Familiarity with improvement methods and tools; ability to manage budgets and projects.

  • Soft Skills: leadership and a strong sense of ownership; ability to unite teams and listen actively; exemplary conduct.

  • Proficiency in English and French.
