The WFS Marketing team seeks an inspired Web Experience or Content Strategy leader to lead optimization for our global web properties targeting hourly employee audiences. This exciting role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and impact millions of job seekers worldwide. You'll focus on maximizing lead generation and conversions through owned web channel engagement while managing all front-end aspects of our websites, including optimization, testing, and localization.
This position requires expertise in developing comprehensive web strategies and content across multiple markets. The Web Experience Manager will collaborate with design, UX, and programming teams to enhance customer experience while partnering with product marketing, content, and project teams to execute the technical roadmap.
The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with global or multi-country website management, strong knowledge of information architecture, merchandising, and SEO. They should demonstrate expertise in modern web design tools and current digital trends. Experience building and deploying websites for global, enterprise-level initiatives is essential. Strong analytical and communication skills are required to assess performance against benchmarks and provide clear optimization recommendations. A deep understanding of UX and SEO best practices, combined with proven project management abilities, will be crucial for success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
Define and plan the global web content strategy, including website architecture, UX, and candidate journey to drive business impact
Lead website performance analytics, including KPIs, testing plans, and optimization across all countries
Own localization process for website and content, while partnering with global SEO and content managers to ensure regional effectiveness
Serve as technical subject matter expert for content strategy, analytics, SEO, web production and system integrations
Drive cross-functional collaboration with PXT teams, marketing, and business leadership to deliver strategic web initiatives
About the team
Our marketing team owns global journey orchestration for Amazon's Hourly job seeker acquisition process. Our areas of expertise include research, SEO, analytics, lifecycle, content strategy and journey design and optimization. We work cross-functionally with creative, performance marketing, product, and tech teams to support driving key business goals for Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Experience directly managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
Experience in e-commerce, digital products or entertainment industries
Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
Knowledge of technical skills such as coding / statistics (python, R, Django, Spark etc.), data visualization, research
Experience in a marketing focused role including customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation reporting, customer funnel analysis, and top-line sales performance
Experience solving complex problems quantitatively and develop actionable data-driven business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
