ARAMARK Waste Management Supervisor - Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects The candidate will be an important member of the team to ensure that the goals & deadlines of this area are achieved.

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23.50 to $23.75, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Closely supervise the sorting of a wide variety of waste materials for recycling, compost & landfill in accordance with established standards and procedures, assuring that contaminated or nonrecyclable materials are separated from recyclable.

  • Identifies and distinguishes recyclables (paper, glass, etc.) from non-recyclables (Garbage, Compost).

  • Supervise sorting through materials on a conveyor to view and recognize the type.

  • Maintain a safe work area.

  • Using a forklift. Empty and/or change sorted material containers as needed.

  • Report and hazardous materials in the waste stream

  • Abides by company policies, procedures, and state, and local regulations.

  • Ensure the loading dock crew cleans areas of work.

  • Coordinate compost, recycle, and landfill pickup with contractors.

  • Meet weekly with Aramark Management & Stadium Reps for event planning.

  • Schedule loading dock temp labor with the temp agency

  • Sign Temp Labor In and Out for shifts recording lunch periods as well

  • Oversee equipment inventory & maintenance.

  • Train & Inform labor on procedures and policies.

  • Weekend and overnight availability is a must

  • Ensure R Cups are returned to the bin and coordinate pickup with the representative.

Qualifications

? 1-3 + years? experience in facilities management preferred

? Requires a Certified Trade Certification, engineering degree/diploma or equivalent experience

? Strong ability to plan, develop, and coordinate

? Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
