Seattle Children’s Hospital System Controller in Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities: Provides direction, management, and leadership in the administrative, accounting, financial analysis and reporting the organization's general financial accounting systems that provide financial reports so that the organization can effectively manage operational and fiscal resources that are necessary to achieve the goals of its health care delivery mission and operational and business objectives. Establishes and supports thorough, effective internal financial controls. Responsible for ensuring the organization complies with all generally accepted accounting principles, all tax laws, governmental regulations and reporting requirements and bonds & banking covenants and reporting. #LI-JC1 Requirements: Required Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field, demonstrating an advanced level of competence. At least ten (10) years experience of progressively responsible senior management experience. At least five (5) years experience in a large integrated Health System, preferably with research and an academic affiliation. Required Credentials: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Preferred: At least five (5) years experience in healthcare finance. Hands-on experience with business development, budgeting, proformas, and complex organizational structures. Min to Max Hourly Salary: $82.35 - $123.52 /hr Min to Max Annual Salary: $171,285.00 - $256,927.00 /yr Salary Information: This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
