Job Title: Swing Material Handler
Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for transporting products between our facilities in the South Park area of Seattle and assisting the Material Handling team with material requisitions. This role demands high accuracy and efficiency in retrieving and delivering products within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge are essential for success in this position, along with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Attendance and punctuality are critical.
Responsibilities
Assist in loading and unloading products using pallet jacks and forklifts.
Backfill other team activities, including material requisition and receiving.
Work efficiently and productively without direct supervision.
Use computers and tablets to log warehouse movements.
Pull orders and scan products using the system via a tablet.
Unload and load trucks and forklifts.
Assist at different warehouse locations as needed.
Maintain a proactive approach, finding tasks to complete during slower periods.
Essential Skills
Forklift operation experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Knowledge of basic warehouse and receiving processes.
Ability to produce quality work at a fast pace while standing all day.
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and proficiently.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Professional demeanor with co-workers, suppliers, and customers.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English clearly.
Experience using a hand truck and pallet jack.
Basic math skills and high attention to detail.
Proficiency with tablets and computers; training will be provided on specific programs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr.
