Amazon Sr. Manager - Technical Infrastructure Program Management in Seattle, Washington

Description

The AWS Systems and Supportability (SnS) team is looking for a Sr. Manager - Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to join the Infrastructure Supply Planning Team. The Supply Planning team is responsible for the material and the datacenter supply signal, with a focus on ensuring the signal is aligned with the financial plan, growth projections, agreed upon supply levers, and prior commits and plan of records.

The Supply planning team also works with the software automation teams specific to capturing and reporting on the supply signals. The Supply Team is responsible for the 13-103 week Supply Plan of Record (POR) for Server material planning and 0-10 year Supply POR for Data Center planning.

As a Sr. Manager, TIPM in the SnS organization, you will play a key role in driving system changes to meet the capacity needs of our customers, and achieve key business goals with little human intervention via a combination of acceleration of various supply solutions and customer driven actions that optimize use of existing and new infrastructure. An ability to take large, technically complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop actionable plans and successfully deliver them are expected. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires the ability to think big and collaborate with others as you work closely with teams across AWS Infrastructure. The shifting power and permitting constraints and critical nature of the role requires someone who maintains momentum, clarity of vision and adaptability while communicating effectively across a diverse set of customers, partners and leadership.

Communication with executive audiences is a regular occurrence. High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership are therefore essential for success in this role.

  • Communicate performance against goals and objectives through narratives and business reviews.

  • Lead broader initiatives, as assigned, to further advance the effectiveness of the organization.
