Who We Are: We're a small, high-impact team building a next-generation TV operating system. Our flexible structure gives engineers direct influence over product direction-an opportunity rarely found in larger companies. Our public API stack is TypeScript, while many backend systems leverage Java, Python, Aerospike, and PostgreSQL. We prioritize problem-solving, scalable architecture, security expertise, and innovation over specific tech stacks. What You'll Do Our Senior Engineers are end-to-end owners. You'll design and build scalable, secure APIs that power our TV OS, impacting millions of users. Your work will span identity solutions, authentication, and high-performance backend systems, all with a strong focus on observability. Play a key role in shaping the future of TV-our OS is set to disrupt the industry. High-impact work with real influence over product and technical decisions. Develop and optimize backend services and APIs for a high-scale CTV platform. Build identity and authentication solutions that ensure security and seamless user access. Enhance API security and drive performance and scalability initiatives. Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL, Aerospike, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align backend functionality with business needs. Who You Are: 6+ years of backend experience, ideally with TypeScript (Node.js). Strong understanding of API security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and IAM solutions. Experience with scalable APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases (Aerospike preferred). A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
