The Position:

The Senior Manager, Scheduling Technical Training, Scheduling & Cell Logistics Team will lead a team of Scheduling Technical Trainers to provide on-boarding, refresher, and specialization training for the Scheduling & Cell Logistics Team (SCLT). Senior Manager, Scheduling Technical Training, Scheduling & Cell Logistics Team will lead a team of direct reports supporting the three SCLT Regional Teams (AMER, EMEA, APAC), as well as indirect reports imbedded in the Regional Teams. This individual will coordinate with Learning & Development and other cross-functional partners to develop training content, refine curricula, and assess SCLT's overall technical training needs. The Technical Training Team is also responsible for managing and triaging any Quality document update requests, as well as conducting Global Impact Assessments of new process launches or updates to established training or reference documents used by the Scheduling Cell Therapy team. The Technical Training Team is also responsible for driving the Global SCLT customer interaction audit program and a continuous process improvement cycle mindset to foster global SCLT training strategy efficiency. Leadership and participation in working groups, process improvement events, and other projects will be key to success in this role, as well as an option for development opportunities. This individual will be instrumental in enabling a user-centric scheduling experience for our patient treatment centers around the world.

  • The position is office-based with in-office attendance required a minimum of 50% of the time. Remote work must be performed at home with consistent office setup and internet access, as extensive work at computers and phones is essential to job function.

  • Weekend and holiday on-call support is required as assigned.

  • Travel is possible and will not exceed 15%. Travel may occur to domestic and international locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, develop, and lead direct reports to provide exceptional technical training to SCLT members to facilitate the enrollment and scheduling of clinical and commercial Cell Therapy patients

  • Routinely connect and work with SCLT's Regional Teams, Learning & Development, and other partners to develop, refine, and execute cross-functional processes and training requirements

  • Directly provide training as required

  • Create and refine general and specialized training content for each of SCLT's regional teams

  • Provide input into goals and plans to deliver on SCLT's global strategy

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders in-person and through electronic/virtual means

  • Facilitate a positive end-to-end customer experience

  • Actively lead and/or participate in tactical and other meetings as assigned

  • Represent Scheduling and Cell Logistics on cross-functional initiatives as assigned

  • Provide on-the-job training on areas of subject matter expertise

  • Provide support and guidance for escalations from the Technical Training team

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and provide input into the development of future state processes

  • Comply with applicable SOPs, work practices, and other documentation

  • Act as subject matter expert for scheduling processes and business requirements gathering for processes and systems changes

  • Project manage & deliver team initiatives as assigned

  • Manage deviations, CAPAs, and escalations to ensure they are handled expeditiously

  • Manage Global SCLT Customer Interaction Audit Program

  • Execute project tasks as assigned

  • Accountable for individual and team performance

  • Manage Impact Assessments related to scheduling documentation and SOPs

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of work experience

  • 7+ years of work experience in scheduling, planning, operations, logistics, and/or supply chain

  • 2+ years managing direct reports, direct or indirect management of multiple teams is preferred

  • Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP/FDA) is preferred

  • Experience in planning/scheduling, customer service, operations management, and/or master data management. Cell Therapy experience is preferred.

  • Must have experience managing others, including in temporary or ad hoc assignments and through matrix teams

  • Must have experience in creating and delivering training content. Experience in content creation is desired.

  • Must have strong proficiency Office 365 software, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $127,000 - $159,000,

plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
