Amazon Senior Manager - Product Management - Tech, Fire Tablet in Seattle, Washington

The Fire Tablet team is hiring a Sr. Manager, Product Management - Technical. This leader will lead our Integrated Experiences team and will be in a dual-faceted role combining both individual contributor and management responsibilities. As an individual contributor, the selected candidate will drive product strategy development and coordinate across tablet teams. As a team leader, they will drive career growth for team members and foster team growth while identifying new opportunities for expansion.

Our Devices & Services strategy is built upon creating products that are exceptional on their own, magical when connected together, and drive profitable business growth. The Integrated Experiences team sits at the heart of our second strategic pillar, focusing on creating seamless connected experiences. The team currently leads Alexa integration with tablets and develops innovative content-forward Amazon experiences, while exploring family and home connectivity solutions. They work extensively with AI capabilities to enhance and amplify our user experiences.

Technical expertise and partnership management are crucial components of this role. The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of Google platforms and demonstrate ability to drive innovation within Google's ecosystem. Experience with Microsoft is highly valuable, as they represent a key strategic partner for our future initiatives.

The role demands strong alignment with our key leadership principles of Customer Obsession, Earns Trust, and Think Big. Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers developing software experiences and features on Fire Tablets

  • Identify new technologies, business models, and strategies to build on Fire tablets

  • Deliver crisp working backward documents outlining solutions and novel product ideas

  • Create buy-in for product vision across all stakeholders

  • Role is global in nature – will work with teams in other marketplaces

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
