The Accounting Senior Manager is considered a trusted business partner across the organization by providing business, revenue and accounting operational guidance to mitigate risk and drive efficiencies. This role focuses on revenue-related activities but will be involved in other accounting initiatives and projects including period-end close, internal control design and process enhancements, analysis and assessment to support account balances or accounting positions, automation of financial statement preparation and more. This role will include extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting, Legal, Operations, FP&A, Order Management, Sales, SOX and Product organizations. The successful candidate will have a versatile skillset having been involved in different accounting areas and possess strong experience across different accounting disciplines, including revenue recognition; financial analysis; internal control design and implementation; process enhancements and system improvements. Responsibilities: As an individual contributor, with possible oversight of project team members[SC1] [JG2] , oversee revenue accounting and related revenue areas such as contract liabilities, rebates and credits. Develop and implement robust revenue recognition processes to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations including the company's ASC606 policy. Work with the Sales organization to develop frameworks for complex deal structures which meet customer objectives, while yielding desired economics and accounting outcomes. Review documentation of sales contracts and transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and guidance. Drive initiatives to streamline processes and improve accounting line support and deliver on responsibilities including period-end close activities, account analysis including memo preparation, automation of financial reporting. Design and maintain an effective internal control environment over the order-to-cash cycle as well as other internal controls in the financial statement close process. Work closely with the external auditor to facilitate the audit process and address any audit requests and findings. Serve as business owner of revenue related systems and provide leadership and strategic guidance in support of new ERP implementation and any related systems. Support other accounting initiatives and projects, where needed. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required; CPA and/or Big Four public accounting experience preferred 7-9+ years [SC1] of relevant accounting and financial reporting expe
